"Fort Wayne Ballet's opening night performances will leave you breathless.

Join us as we celebrate world-renowned choreography by presenting pieces by Gerald Arpino and Edward Stierle.  These works are presented by permission and staged in compliance with the standards of The Gerald Arpino Foundation and The Stierle Family. 

Confetti - an exhilarating display of dance athleticism designed to highlight the highest level of technical prowess while celebrating the joy of life. 

acrymosa - a work of sweeping power to Mozart's Requiem, this piece was an instant success and declared "gripping and deeply felt" by the New York Times.

ight Rain - pulsting exotic rhythms with sensual prowess, a piece designed by Gerald Arpino to highlight the young dancers of the Joffrey during the 80's. Disco and ballet? This you have to see...

5:30pm - Food trucks on the plaza! Grab dinner before the show

6:00pm - lobby doors open, meet the dancers, cash bar, learn more about the performance through information stations and an amazing costume exhibit.

7:00pm - pre-performance talk with Cameron Basden and Kim Sagami, the two amazing ladies behind the staging

7:30pm - performance

9:00pm - Opening Night reception in lobby - free to all patrons!  (Friday night only)"
